Today was an awesome day in church, the Holy Spirit was there in full force ,and it seemed more than evident to me that the people in the congregation were hungry for what he was bringing,, see all I really have to say that the God that we serve is so good. I had the opportunity today to see God work in the life's of several people today, and I must admit it was sweet.
It is so good to see God move in the life's and the hearts of his children, but I believe that we sometimes reject that move of his hand ,and we don't really realize that we are doing it.
Honestly, it’s hard to believe how much God loves us.In fact, God knows you don’t believe it. That’s why God tells you over and over again, “My love for you endures forever. My love for you endures forever. My love for you endures forever. My love for you endures forever.”
In the New Testament we hear this same message in different words, in some of the most beautiful words God ever gave to us. Ephesians 2:4-10 says:
Because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
There will be times, of course, when we would feel that no matter how hard we try, it is just difficult to love others the way Jesus loves us. During such times, we must not condemn ourselves for falling short. Instead, we should use it to seek God and receive his forgiveness. Remember, he who is forgiven much, loves much. And 1 Peter 4:8 assures us that love covers a multitude of sins.
God says in everything give thanks for this is His will for you in Christ Jesus. Right now you may be saying I can’t be thankful for the terrible tragedy or wrong that happened to me. You may even be in a current situation that is very painful. But your choice in every situation is to either be angry with God or thankful. Maybe you think that you love God but you also admit that you are angry at people who have hurt you. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? (1stJohn 4:20) If you will decide to be thankful to God for the situation, recognizing that it is God’s will for you, then the hate and anger will be replaced by love, even for the people who have hurt you. Love always brings revelation, allowing you to see things and people in God’s light
My friends we serve an awesome God, and his love has no limit, and knows no boundary’s. Today those that were in attendance at New Life got to see God's love in action, and I was truly blessed as I witnessed it. My prayer daily is that the fire that the Lord has started at New Life Assembly only gets bigger and continues to spread like the wild fire that is has become,NEVER limit the love of God my friends, but always, always, always embrace it,with all that you are. God has so much in store for those that are willing to embrace him and accept him.
Be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 5:18– 20)
In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1StThessalonians 5:18
Blessings!!
